It's about a boy named Alfie who hated going to the dentist because he once had a terrible experience but when a new dentist comes to town. Alfie is finding weird things about this dentist. Is she good, or is she evil? There is only one way to find out read Demon Dentist now! The main characters are Alfie (a boy) ,Winne (a social worker), and Miss Root (The dentist). The story takes place in school, Raj's shop and Alfie's home. In my opinion, I think Demon Dentist is a laugh-a-thon most of the time. It also keeps you on the edge of your seat, usually at the end of a chapter and at the end of the book because it's suspenseful. The ending is shocking and sober. You're not expecting it. Other books written by David Williams are Gansta Granny, The Boy in the Dress and Mr. Stink. You might want to read them too if you like this one. Some similar books by other authors are Oliver and the Seawigs , Four children and It, finally, Docter Proctor's Fart powder. Some connections I have to this book is like Alfie, I also detest going to the dentist. If you have also hated going to the dentist why wouldn't you want to read a book called Demon Dentist?

what kinds of funny parts are there? Is there a little bit of violence? why is the setting in the school a shop and a house?
